I know this place

Second showing of the exhibition, I Know This Place, at Brooklyn Film Camera on November 7, 2024.

This show brings together the works of 11 artists from the international photography collective, Small Table. Having met while living in New York City and befriending each other around extendable tables in shoebox apartments, they now operate across the globe. This is their second group show, and through piecing together scenes of domestic observations, it is one that stands as  a monument to home in multiple forms.

Now operating from multiple continents, Small Table stands to not only maintain their own cross-cultural bridges in flourishing art scenes across the globe, but to build new ones as they go. Brooklyn Film Camera is a cultural institution that opened its doors back in 2015, and has since fostered a broad community of people, often hosting classes, workshops, critiques, screenings, gatherings, events and exhibitions. It has garnered a name for itself locally and internationally as a Polaroid and vintage camera resale shop, and is a stop for many analogue enthusiasts traveling to New York.

Media, art & photography followers are welcome to join us in attending the opening of I know this place, and to follow on social media for news and updates.
